On 29 July took place the first beginner’s tournament especially dedicated to squash players from Max Squash Beverwijk. The 16 participants competed and qualified first on a group phase. The best players of each group moved to an A Class and the rest to a B Class simple elimination draw.
In the final of the B Class Marcel & Sidney defeated Maarten & Ronald for a one set competition with a result of 6-2. The absolute champions of the tournament are Walter & Edzo who defeated Lesley & Bart for 6-2 in the A Class draw.”
