TC Matchpoint (Torhout), Waterloo Sports (Waterloo) and Europadel (Brussels) are the pioneer padel clubs in Belgium that will compete during the I Padel Inteclubs of Belgium. During this competition they will write the history of the sport in the country.
Waterloo Sports was the host of the first padel court in the Benelux. Today this sports organization holds the only indoor padel court in the region. Among their many tennis players are padel enthousiasts that will represent their club in the competition. TC Matchpoint is the newest addition to padel in Belgium. Disregard their relative inexperience with padel, they count some of the best doubles tennis players in the region, such as Jan van Kwikkelberghe en Korneel Sanders. They can be a tough padel opponent to even experienced padel players. Lastly, Europadel is the most active padel club in Belgium. Started in 2010, today the club counts more than 50 fanatic padel players of various nationalities. Their team includes several experienced Spanish padel players.
This competition marks a historic high point of Padel in Belgium as it is the first time to occur. Each team will be represented by three teams that will compete against each of the other clubs in a series of home and abroad matches. The prize ceremony will take place at Waterloo Sports on July 24th.
The competition is organized by Brian Grillmaier and Norberto Nesi and it is sponsored by Vision and Padel Benelux.
