Valeria Pavón is one of the best female players in the professional PPT Tour. Currently she is ranked 3 and she is a member of the second best team in the circuit.
She started playing when she was 7 years old, in her hometown Salto, in Argentina. Initially she played with her family and friends, but as she grew up, she started training and competing in Buenos Aires. Everything became more serious then, as she was exposed to playing and training with professional padel players. When she was 17 years old she played her first professional padel match against two of the biggest legends in the circuit: Cecilia Bacigaluppo and China Mazzuchi… and they won one of the sets 6-0! Later on she moved to Spain to continue playing at an even higher level.
Nowadays, Valeria competes in the prestigious PPT Tour. She is an aggressive player and her position is on the left side of the court. She is sponsored by Vision & Land Rover among other brands. She plays with a Vision racquet, Avalanche Woman 3.
