In the final of the Huizen Padel Championship Marcel Bogaart (NED) and Bram Meijer (NED) defeated Peter Bruijsten (NED) and Coen Beltman (NED) for a 7-6 6-7 6-2
It is remarkable that out of the 4 teams reaching the semifinal, three of them were dutch padel players and members of the Dutch National Team coached by Norberto Nesi.
In the ladies category, Wendy van Eijk (NED) and Nicole Schuurmans (NED) defeated all other female teams in the championship.
For the beginners category Moises Navarro (ESP) and Alberto Valverde (ESP) defeated in the final Eduardo Bernar (ESP) and Alvaro Martinez (ESP) for 4-6 6-4 7-5
In the Open Consolation Tournament, Lino Dell (ITA) and John Lopez (URU) defeated Ricardo Varela (POR) and Frank Beenen (NED) 6-1 6-3
Forty eight participants inscribed in the tournament from 13 nationalities, including members of the National Team of Germany and Uruguay as well as many beginers and intermediate padel players.
Parallel to the padel tournament, a meeting of the International Padel Federation took place, including a visit of its President, Daniel Patti. In the conversations participated the Presidents of the Belgian and German Padel Federations, as well as Holland and other board members such as Willem Best, Peter Bruijsten, Norberto Nesi and Marcel Bogaart.
